I'm on my way...about to set off down to Newcastle for the Amsterdam ferry then on down to Grindelwald via the Black Forest and from Grindelwald after the Treffen on to Caramulo for the motor festival. Car is all packed and one or two small jobs done; cleaned & waxed, cleaned and painted the rusty stonechips on front of chassis, oil and filter changed, bevel box oil changed, new cam belt, new Centa rollers, new back tyre (with an added round of measuring & marking for wheel alignment purposes, fire extinguisher fitted (for Caramulo, it's the rules!) Swiss motorway Vignette thing stuck to screen, holdall and tripod strapped to luggage rack, footwell full of camera gear, goggles and flying helmets (hot and cold weather to be catered for) plus of course a model Lotus Evora and a large talking Minion (there's a young nephew and niece to be catered for on the way in Holland)
