Just sorting out an electrical earth problem on an early Series 1. It appears to be where the battery lead meets the body then joins an earth lead to the engine.
Has anyone changed this or improved this arrangement?
Has anyone moved away from the brass battery posts as that seem so be another place for poor connections.
Interestingly the poor earth appears to cause a myriad of the regular Series 1 problems namely ,clicking starter, stalling, cam sensor and maf error messages.
