I agree Nick, it is a real shame. We have few remnants of our proud naval past left and it would be a tragedy to loose the Cutty Sark.
Why would anyone one to set fire to this icon from the past? Luckily, I have just heard on the news that some 60% of it was in storage and thus it was only 40% that was badly damaged by fire.
Let's hope they can make good.
