Prity sure my 2012 plus 8 has a electric pump under the passenger wing as it had to be replaced under warranty.

As with most things Morgan there's no hard and fast changeover dates
And in all honesty my major experience is with the early cars and when we raced the Aero in British Gt's and Britcar, I threw away or heavily modified much of the OE equipment to make the car reliable (and faster)
