We have a 2000 plus 4 with T16 engine, much better than the M series as there is a seperate aux belt driving the water pump unlike the M series that had the cam belt on the water pump and was a real problem!
Cylinder furthest from water pump and radiator is last to get water and therefore gets hotter.
This is not a problem if you look after the engine BUT if you dont fill the water and she overheats that last cylinder warps at the head!
Then you'll have problems!
Has anyone tried Evans Coolant any good?
