What a lovely trike Jason, and I love the care in which you have prepared it for sale and the sad, but interesting story. A very special car indeed.
I would really love to own it, having started my original connection with Morgan's by wanting a trike so that I could drive a year earlier than a car licence. However, I have no doubt that my mechanical abilities would not extend to keeping it running properly.
May I wish you the very best of luck at the up-coming eBay auction, I hope that it does find a good home and also as you intend helps out your widowed Mother.
It would be interesting to see some photos of the Plus 8 and also learn a little more of its particular history.
