It sounds as if you have removed all of the fixing elements, so it maybe the problem of sticksion, if that's the case just give it a firm yank
That was my experience as well
I just had to keep plucking up the courage to give it a firmer yank each time after a few deep breaths and double checking that I had removed every fastening
It came free eventually without any damage but it was quite a firm yank
On the Imperial Sticksion Yank scale of 1 to 12, it was a 10
