The sills and doors give slightly better access than the Elise/Exige. Build quality was much better than earlier Lotus cars, no major problems in 15,000 miles of ownership. Only problem may be parts unique to the Europa as the production run was small. Prices seem to be on the up now. Big power available from the VXR engine but the Lotus ECU map was not great. A Milltek exhaust helped things and sounded great. Hofmanns did a lot of Europa improvements and raced one with good results. A very under rated car IMHO.
