When fitting a moto lita steering wheel to a trad morgan...is it possible to use brass bolts and nuts instead of alloy. Any thoughts.
Just realised it was you who bought my fabulous steering wheel on eBay
I had the very same thoughts of the brass when I got it - I think it will look fab.
You could reverse the bolts so that the brass acorn nuts are facing you
I sprayed my top ring black to give a nice contrast with the screws
Although just a word of warning that if your boss is the 6 hole type, trying to get a 6 hole replacement top ring is really hard
It took me half an hour of asking all the dealers at the NEC the other week before I managed to persuade a dealer to split one off a new Mountney steering wheel for a tenner
9 hole ones, ten a plenty but not 6 holes
