One of the advantages in leaving near the Chesapeake Bay is the availability of marine hardware of all sorts and types. I probably spend more time buying marine type supplies for my 4/4 than I do for my sailboat.
What a great place to have a car. About 15 years ago (?) I was involved in a job for Metro Machine Corp and moving a newbbuild drydock from Europe to there. I have been involved in a number of discharges but this was one of the scenic.
I remember a wonderful evening in Colonial Williamsburg.
