The GTN was (and still is) the best set up aero out of the factory I believe.
I haven't changed the set up in any way, just had a few pieces replaced when worn.
Right now I have standard road tyres on and the semi-slicks are in the garage with a spare set of perfect wheels.
In fact, the only modification I have done is re position the rear view mirror so it is attached to the header rail rather than stuck on the glass. It clears the viewing area nicely but still works perfectly with either hardtop or soft-top
Thanks Shooter, that is a really good idea regarding the rear view mirror - it does block visibility a bit so might have to look at that.
I forget what tyres the GTN came with, were the semi-slicks back then quite unforgiving in the wet/uk roads?
I am guessing something like a Michelin Cup Sport2 might have the best of both worlds now.
