I noticed this issue on Aldermog after fitting Brake reaction bars. I took the cheap way out, by slitting along the length of suitable silicone tubing and sliding over the brake hose, securing with a thin strip of silicone rubber along the cut.
The silicone hose was free to move and it seems that this protects the rubber brake hose sufficiently.
