I vaguely remember paying £14 per month as a 17 year old.
In 1976 at the age of 17 I got my first road-legal motorbike (Triumph Tigercub) insured 3rd-party only for £15 a year. I was particularly miffed to find out that a mate had managed to get insurance for his BSA C11 for only £11.
