The standard Banner battery wasn't up to it and was replaced with a higher CCA (Exide AGM?) and the ECU re-programmed to give a richer mixture from cold. Starting much improved. As others have mentioned, pumping the accelerator isn't a good idea as it confuses the ECU.


Have you been able to compare the performance and running of his Euro 4 (when it can start) with the Euro 3?
