I began having trouble on a hot re-start last summer. Ambient temps were not that hot, ie in the 70F - 80F range. 8000 miles on the car, happened all of a sudden at a gas station.
Did it happen after filing up with gas? If you fill to the brim it can cause starting and cutting out for a few miles.
