Ref. free motoring; I doubt it. Let's face it money will be lost on any new car but that is not the be all end all about an emotional purchase.
Yes Morgans depreciate slower than most from the new retail price, but they do depreciate.

Williams Morgan offered me more than I paid for Tarka against a new 50th Anniversary edition. The replacement value for insurance is £15k more than the price I paid, based on similar Plus 8s that have been sold by UK dealers in the last 12 months.
BUT the price hike we see for the "Last 50" is substantial for what are essentially cosmetic differences. So perhaps there will be an initial depreciation... however it will be less than on a mainstream production sports car at the same price point.
