Good for you! I rather like the hood up / no sidescreens look, but whenever I do it I'm always a little concerned about the windscreen. Once over about 50mph my hood tends to flap a bit, and I'm not sure what it's doing to the windscreen mounts and pillars.

I have absolutely no qualms about putting the hood up whenever I want to. In the winter, I frequently prefer being nice and warm and snug. All very well on a bright dry winter's day to run top-down, but when the weather's like it has been over Easter I can't see much point in 'braving the elements'.
