Somebody Earlier in this thread said"If you are running Windows 10, the stock Microsoft Windows Defender is fine. Otherwise go for Malwarebyte".
Never used Defender but I know from magazine tests and experience of a mate who only had that and got a major problem that Defender is only OK until you get a full blown Virus Prog. I recommend NOT to rely on Defender.
I use Norton and its been excellent. I do run Malware malbytes but with Norton working its never found anything.
Another comment about hardware (routers, cameras and stuff) their passwords - often the company generate a password based on the unit MAC address or serial number. So they may seem secure but I believe there are programmes on the black market that can back calculate to password from that data. So as has been said always change passwords to your own - and don't use Letmein123 :-).
I have to say I worked for a large aerospace corporation and they were a target but I cant believe joe public is of any interest except to scam your money.
