sorry to hear of your mishap Stewart - but it looks as if a 'fix' is well underway.
A couple of nights ago I was locking up the house for the night and went into the garage to pat the car goodnight, sorry, I meant that I was checking everything was locked up tight
The lights came on and one of the two 150 watt bulbs (I have been stockpiling them since they were outlawed...) exploded with truly frightening force.It was akin to a hand grenade going off (well almost !).
Sadly, this was the bulb directly over the Aero bonnet and o/s wing - cue lots of broken glass and numerous scratches in the paint.
I have spent the last couple of days with a D/A polisher and various compounds trying to remove the worst of them
