http://www.newarkairmuseum.orgRe East Kirby (home of Just Jane) - please don’t underestimate how long it takes to see everything - the hangar is a wonderful experience with the Lancaster, Mosquito and a Dakota. The vehicle collection is interesting too. They also have a number of additional buildings that you can visit including a display dedicated to aircrew escaping from occupied territory and the control tower fitted out as in period. Our first visit took 4 hours - been back twice since and looking for time to go again. I should declare an interest - I have a membership cart in my wallet. The cafe is good. If you happen to visit on a day when the Lancaster taxis, the photo opportunities are wonderful. They allowed DonMog to line up in front of Just Jane for photographs.
