Thanks everyone for your replies. Opinion somewhat divided between replace and repair, it seems. There is a body shop near to me (“former glory’ an MG centre on the A40 near junction 6 of M40 run by one Nigel Guild based for a long time in Acton/Percival area). I’ll let you know how I get on.
