If it is any help, my logic in buying a 2013 car was simply that to purchase a new car of the spec I have got would have cost me an additional £18,000. These cars are not well developed, only have a 30 month warranty on them and I am likely to keep it for longer than the warranty period. I am not convinced that a new car will prove to be any more reliable than the one I have, which at least has covered some miles now and so will have had a number of the issues shaken out of it now.
