No talent? No talent?!?!?! That is a tad harsh for the man who wrote Maybe I'm Amazed, Band on the Run, and Live and Let Die, don't you think? This may fail to impress after the Beatles catalog however he also stayed married to his wife until the end and hasn't died of a drug overdose - let's not attack him for the simple fact that he has lived longer than one could possibly expect an artist's creativity to endure. I grant you that yes, he was the iceburg lettuce of the Fab Four and "Say, Say, Say" was a travesty of justice, but no talent? Surely we can indulge him if he still enjoys tinkering about with songwriting after years of indelible musical gifts he has given us? His talent may not be John Lennon caliber but at least we are not forced to sacrifice half an album to Yoko Ono's make-your-ears bleed-to-hear-it artistic contributions. And George wasn't exactly breaking new ground with "I've Got My Mind Set On You." He just passed before it got too cringe worthy. When Paul puts out a Duets album with Kanye West and Fergie I will throw in the towel, but I've heard worse from other musicians with much less of a legacy to live up to.
