Hi Ray , not quite sure what you mean by turning the fan spades . I will have to ask what you mean . ? . Maybe that would help but not sure . Or - What about adding a pusher fan in front of the radiator. Have you ever done that or know anyone who did ? Thanks , Marlene
. My fan (original from new) had the wires fitted to the underneath of the motor. They woul periodically vibrate off so loseing power to the fan. Unbolted the fan motor turned it 180 degrees bolted back.. never fell off again. PS to refill I would fill the rad to the brim ,fill the expansion tank halfway, check expansion tank after it has cooled after a good run. Keep doing this untill it stops dropping in level, it can take some time to settle down.
