If you haven’t fitted an expansion tank on the bulkhead do so. Feed the expansion tank by a new line from the overflow port on the remote filler. Replace the pressure cap on the remote filler by a sealed cap and use the pressure cap on the expansion tank. Top up the system from the expansion tank only.
