Magical Morgan Moments:
I was sitting in the Morgan under the shade of an ash tree in the car-park of Kentucky fried chicken, in Taree.
We were tucking into lunch, when a silent, very new Toyota corola glided in beside me.
Out got 4 very elderly ladies, well older than me, and grouped themselves around the car.
Did I fear for my life, what was going to happen next?
I knew what the next question was going to be: is this an MG?
"no" I replied, "its a Morgan".
they all craned their necks to find the name, "its on the front" I replied.
Ohhhh that's nice and off they toddled into the air conditioned comfort of the KFC.
The driver said that she especially parked next to me because it reminded her of her youth and open cars, under the shade of the Coolaba tree... I never received this attention when I drove the Landie, there is more to owning a Morgan than meats the eye!
I now carry a comb to look my best at the traffic lights laugh2
