That was my first thought Ray.in which case I don't have any 'wiggle room'. I was rather hoping it would be less than that as I assume the shafts don't butt against each other in the diff and the shaft retaining nut is slightly in board of the body line. An inch will make the difference between success and oh **** !
The shafts also have different part nos. Is that because they are different lengths perhaps?
