Nevertheless you can learn a lot from the loom diagrams if you have the patience to decode the cable colour abbreviations, since individual cable runs are usually numbered as well.

In version 6.0 of the 2014 on classic parts manual (seemingly the current one) I notice that as well as loom diagrams there are several conventional ones, for the Roadster at least. Each drawing deals with a single aspect of the electrics - headlights, reversing and fog lights, heater controls etc. as well as a range of engine ones including solenoids for the variable cam timing. This simplifies cable tracing enormously.
