Whats wrong with wire wheels? When I pop my clogs I would like to be interred within the hub of a wire wheel (stainless).
Personal taste, mostly. I think they look great in narrow format, but a bit silly when they are that wide, also a bit too bling when they are shiny chrome or stainless.
Also performance. In a high performance car like a Roadster, the weight penalty is a bit sub-optimal.
I think Jays' minilites are absolutely perfect for a Roadster.
