Asking Berrybrook about the mileage issue I was given to understand that in my case the difference would be about £1,000 reduction due to the higher mileage. After I factored in some add-ons like radiator, spots, shocks, walnut dash etc. costing about £1500, each mile I covered has ADDED about 2.5p per mile to the value!


Did Berrybrook offer to buy it at that price? innocent

Insuring my wife's jewelry I was disgusted to find that the valuation for insurance was twice what I could have bought the same ring for second hand. Not suggesting that the Moggie valuation is twice what it would sell for - just pointing out that the only valuation worth anything is what someone is willing to put their hands in their pockets for.
