You need to identify if its oil burning. Over fuelling is usually black smoke not blue and generally its lumpy from the rich running. White smoke can be brake fluid coming in via the servo pipe or water vapour from coolant loss.
Assuming you have oil pressure and no noises I would at least run it hot to see if it clears.
