And just to add to Fox Terrier's observation. I get much more out of the sport now that I see it as a team sport. I can see the agony of the poor guy/gal who makes the wrong call on when to bring-em-in or the pit-crew member who fumbles the tyre change or the engineer who sees his engine die. And then we have the dazzling technology and science which underpins the whole thing. But in the end a driver pulls on the gloves, steps into a car and goes out and does magic - not always, perhaps not often, but definitely sometimes - and for me that makes it all worthwhile. To come to your television and expect a thrill-a-minute from pseudo-heroes is to miss the art and the heart of the sport.
