I am investigating a little further but it looks as though I may have not understood that I needed to update the DNS after the change in server. I have to say that I assumed that it had been done by the hosting service as the domain is also registered through them.

The DNS has now been updated but it may take a little while to propagate throughout the net. I will follow up on the response so that I understand what is expected if there is another change of server in the future.
