I agree, the nose is not really a beauty. She was developed in a time which was already a dark time. For this reason Mercedes perhaps would not have made efforts to recreate this car during the last two or three decades even if they had found her ladder frame earlier than in 2011.
I must say, she is not really elegant but her story and at first the effort Mercedes did to make her coming alive again is impressive. At least Mercedes knows how to feed the core value of the brand (regarding the love and effort of the reconstruction but not to reanimate the dark times).
