Now back from Carlton, in Coverdale - not even mobile phone signal there
Now to get the salt from under the 90...
We got back from the Emerald Isle yesterday, an interesting drive from Dublin to Donegal before Christmas. Quite deep snow in Dublin and icy unsalted roads most of the way - over 7-hours to do 160 miles! Managed to get there in one piece (yes, cadence braking helped Graham
).
Very cold Christmas (minus 17 one night), but quite magical white one and the hotel upgraded all the family to executive suites so can't recommend them
highly enough. Luckily the main roads had thawed somewhat by the time we drove back to Dublin for the new year.
I trust that everyone else had an enjoyable festive break and are ready for the return to work tomorrow.
