I won't let myself be convinced until someone actually uses this MG tool and reports back.
My old fashioned way is to tighten as much as I can ,then put the wheel back on the ground, observe a spoke for reference and clout the spinner hard: Meabh.
I have the MGOC USA Spanner and have used mine to test loosen and tighten a spinner again and it was fine. It has to be 100% better than 'clouting' with a mallet in terms of achieving a constant torque on all 4 spinners and no risk of hitting the wing or catching spokes.
MGOC also offer a similar tool for Hex 'nuts' use as well.
