Engine update time peeps.
18 Air horns were purchased, 6 of each length. Basically different lengths of the air horns produce different characteristics when mapping. Short length for power, long for making torque. We will play about when on the engine dyno to see what makes the best. All of them are the same diameter which is 45mm.
These are the 3x pairs of the 45mm individual throttle bodies we have had made & will use.
6x Bosch 440cc sized fuel injectors.
Lastly here is the pics of the engine after a dummy build this morning. We checked that the intake ports on all parts (throttle bodies, inlet manifold & on the head) before the top end was removed to have all 3 parts are ported together.
In this pic you can see the billet aluminium alternator I've had made by Wos Performance.
Bear in mind this was a dummy build of components. Th engine will now get stripped down, components rechecked.
The engine will look totally different once finished.
The exhaust system in the pics wont be used. A new system will be designed as a one off for this engine.
