The latest... MMC has four warranty claims... mine, another at my dealership, another US owner, and a UK owner who is taking his car to the factory on February 10 where the leather company and the MMC upholstery shop will assess. MMC has agreed that dying isn’t a solution. I’m guessing that these four cars were done in close sequence and whomever was at the sewing machine didn’t do things correctly. We’ll see. After seeing the car at the factory, MMC will make a decision and let my dealer know. Right now they’re thinking of sewing new covers there ( I’ll send a sample of my leather) for installing here.
