I run the leccy buzzsaw over my chin once a week and that's it. I have a little pile of Gillette razors rust gently in the corner of the cupboard. I did use a badgers brush and penhaligon's soap which always felt nice. Once I had my bag lost by an airline on a long haul and I was given a disposable 2 blade blue BIC. The lady smiled as she gave it to me and said, if all else fails you can use this. She was not kidding. BIC the ripper.

Your mention of Amazon offering subscription packages now which means a lot of these companies are going to find it difficult. Amazon's prices remain as competitive as ever.
I have used a couple of the amazon buttons (both actual hardware ones and also the app/web page virtual buttons for re-order on demand and find these really useful. As soon as you get low you just hit the button. I prefer this model to the monthly fixed subscriptions of the individual clubs. As mentioned the use rate varies a lot.
I did feel a bit bad about using shipment for a single item however when I worked out what my mpg and cost per mile total was compared to the delivery driver it seemed quite good for the planet. Given I always recycle the cardboard I feel less evil now. Our delivery driver typically has 30-40 deliveries in Whitchurch so his incremental distance is quite small for it. The trunking to a local shop would be the same otherwise.
