I'm awaiting the delivery of a Plus 4 and look at this thread with interest. My initial thoughts were to use a full stormforce 4 layer in the garage and a morganhoods cockpit cover when out and about.
It seems most opinions are the cockpit cover is not sufficient and a storm cover offers greater protection of the engine bay. However there is some notes regarding possible paint damage on windy days - I see a lot of those.
My considerations were size and ease of use, has anybody any thoughts on the Morgan MMC Storm cover, it seems to not have the straps around the lights, is there any issues with the straps and chaffing? Anybody own a MMC cover that could comment on it's performance.
Just need to finalise my short term cover solutions if anyone can help.
The other way around surely unless you have a very leaky garage
In any case would generally avoid MMC accessories where there is a more competitively priced third party source, which is usually the case.
