I have MWS stainless wires, which replaced original chrome wires that were showing signs of pitting after only 3 years of dry weather use. Never looked back. They still look as new after 10 years, zero maintenance other than a light spray with wheel cleaner (actually I use a mountain bike cleaner, Muc-off) when washing the car. I have never polished them as suggested above! Mine is a narrow body 4/4 in silver and personally I think the stainless wires look great.
