Having had a 4/4 Sport for 4 years and 24,000 miles I loved the look of the black wires but a total PIA to clean. I would go for stainless wires now, I've had the alloys on both my Plus 8's and they save so much time when cleaning and I prefer the look.
My black wire wheels are black and don‘t shine so often. I find them easy to clean and they look ok dirty too.
