Summer 2017.
Was on the M4 headed to play in a golf match. Sunny so hood down. A sudden hailstorm ....
needed but speed way too high as on the M4!
Very painfull at 70 mph. Even when slowed to 50mph.
Luckily my sunglasses saved my eyes. I placed my hand in front my nose/chin to deflect the hail. Tonneau cover saved the passenger side and limited my side. No marks on the car either...
Then yesterday while walking the dog got caught in a hailstorm. The hail was large pea sized and blown by a strong wind. The plus was it bounced off so stayed pretty dry.
Monty didn’t care....he carried on as if nothing going on.
