Clamping off all 4 corner flexies first and depressing pedal will inform you whether its Master Cyl, personnaly i am with TBM on this i would be looking for worn out arms and pivots where shoes meet Cylinders, however rolling the car slowly with the pedal half depressed would alert you to oval Drums and the pedal moving up and down, in essence you would feel the pedal pulse under your foot.
