I would gladly give up the TV license etc if the government kept to the contract we had when my wife & I started work. even though we had low salaries we paid our NI. Now with the change of retirement age without compensation HM Gov have taken off us effectively 6 years for my wife 1 year for me making c £56k.
My old company pension is still set at 65 as the retirement age as per our contract so I lose part of the pension due to SERPS of c £1k as HM Gov should be paying that but aren't of course.
Surely the Lords should be using that £57k for the young or perhaps they pissed it away on Brexit planning.
