without the 'sidewall' bulges that I read the Vredestein Classic has...?
I'm really not sure how widespread this problem actually is. I've heard of this possibility from a couple of sources, and seen photographs of one car with the phenomenon on two of its tyres.
I have bought a total of 9 of these tyres so far, and not one of them has had any unsightly bulges. Unlike the purchaser.
