If you get floaters in your eyes or a shadow in your vision....get to hospital pdq. Last night I spent an hour in an operating theatre with a detached retina. No driving 4 to 6 weeks no gig rowing until September. If you get changes in your eyes get them checked

Snap. But in my case the retina was fine and the eye hsopital sent me down to the stroke place who said I had had a small stroke. 4 weeks no driving unless I have another during that time period in which case its hand in the licence until I've been clear for three months.
And I have literally just bought myself a new toy car which has had to be stuck in the garage and sorned.
Capping it all, today received a £70 penalty notice for accidentally turning into a bus only road in Cardiff rush hour traffic, even after doing an instant U turn to get out of the very badly signposted road.
