I have been under a lifetimes misconception until today that 'Black Velvet' was Guinness & Cider. Obviously grew up in the wrong circles (Low Cost Versions)
I thought that was a 'Poor Man's Black Velvet' Frank. A true 'Black Velvet' is stout (usually Guinness) with champagne, served layered in a champagne flute.
