Ouch - you have to feel for the guy. 3 things struck me about it. Firstly just how vital it is to keep your "eyes on main beam" and look as far as you can see to hopefully avoid such situations. Secondly the link Heinz has posted is a bit more detailed than the one I got via the Daily mail - showing the car that was hit by the Morgan was a sensible distance from the one in front whilst waiting in a traffic line. Good driving - allowing a gap in front stopped his Audi SUV getting pushed into the car in front.

As Heinz said - the 83 year old design proved very effective in this high speed impact. Horrible to see however. I do feel really sorry for the Morgan driver - I just hope it serves as a warning to all to maintain the vision scans into the horizon and really pay attention to decent observations habits.
