Given it appears you have increased the mechanical leverage ratio of the brake pedal (by relocating the clevis closer to the main pedal pivot) and given the recent factory warnings about possible failure of those early pedal assemblies, you might want to think about installing a clevis pin that goes clear through the brake pedal, or perhaps adding a reinforcement to the top part of the lever arm where the brake clevis attaches. Or simply get the newer design pedal assembly and modify that as you have done here.

My brake pedal was the same as yours and it broke! Take it in to your local Morgan dealer (if you have one) for the safety recall mod to be done.
